Definition:
- Generally defined as abnormality in kidney structure or function generally resulting in eGFR of ≤60
- Having a kidney transplant means abnromality in kidney structure automatically classifying at CKD
- Generally defined as abnormality in kidney structure or function generally resulting in eGFR of ≤60

Classification
- Cause, G1-G5 based on eGFR, Albuminaemia (A1-3) (CGA) classification has now surpassed the previous staging
Management
- First line is lifestyle management
- Screen for sleep apnoea in overweight/obese patients
- 4+3 approach
- RAS-inhibitors
- SGTL2-i
- BP < 120
- Statin
