- When assessing motor response, you need to ask a two-step action
- Grasping and releasing your finger
- Opening mouth and sticking out tongue
- Central stimulus
- Trapezius squeeze
- Localising = moving hand above the clavicle towards the stimulus
- Normal flexion/withdraws to pain = arm flexion with rapid movement away from the stimulus
- Abnormal flexion = arm flexes slowly and comes across the body
- Extension = elbow extension
- Supraorbital notch
